Putting back into the community by supporting Libraries, Schools & Kindergartens by getting children excited about reading is important and close to my heart.
Just by incorporating a story into your child's bedtime routine, you are not only sharing some beautiful stories and having special one on one time with your child. You are also assisting in their development and literacy skills.
It was a lot of fun to try some magic tricks for the Preschool children at Junee both 100 Acre Woods and Mr McGregor's Garden. Assisted by a very special helper, Phoebe. I also had the opportunity read my brand new book Beautiful Magic. So pleased you all like it and had a fun morning.
It was my great pleasure to visit the Students and Staff from Junee North Public School for a book reading in term 3 of 2019. The Students had plenty of questions about my books and what is was like being an author and illustrator. I look forward to returning over the coming weeks for Creative Writing and Illustrating workshops with each class.

Books for Babies Project
Thank you to the Rotary Club of Litchfield/Palmerston for selecting Grandma's Garden for their Books for Babies Project in 2013, 2014 & 2015. Rotary Club of Litchfield/Palmerston introduced the Books for Babies Project in March 2013 for Literacy month , where a copy of Grandma's Garden was presented to every baby born at both the Royal Darwin Hospital & Darwin Private Hospital. The project is to
encourage new parents to read to their babies & give the children the best possible start by introducing them to books. With all their hard work with fund raising they have been able to continue this wonderful project for 3 consecutive years with support hopefully many more to come. You can find out how to help them more on Facebook Rotary Litchfield/Palmerston.
